An artist and a teacher at the Royal University of Fine Arts, Phnom Penh, Cambodian artist Srun Rida’s artistic practice spans printmaking, photography, painting and installation. His artworks are often located at the nexus of aesthetic creativity and social justice, exploring Cambodia’s political and social issues.
Graduating from the Royal University of Fine Arts (2017), he developed his printmaking skills and techniques at Char, the university’s printmaking studio. He also graduated from the photography class of Studio Image of French Institution of Cambodia, Phnom Penh in 2017. In 2018, he was an exchange program student for a semester with the Faulty of Arts Plastique of the University of Paris 8, France.
