Phan Dinh Khanh

Vietnamese artist Phan Dinh Khanh portrays human memory using overlapping images where the interlacing blur effect is used to illustrate fragmented memory, stacked over each other, appearing and disappearing, as if the harder one tries to recall any of them, the more faded those memories would become. To him, memory is a part of life, it is always there in our subconscious, stored in an intangible way. In his words ‘… I want to recreate memory into art works that can be seen, touched and stored by various senses besides our abstract perception.’
