Ketsakda Wimolsong is a Bangkok-based independent artist who recently graduated from Poh Chang Academy of Arts. His works chronicle the vast waste that humans create when consuming plastic. Goods like wrappers, straws and plastic bags are used and thrown away after one use but do not disappear for hundreds of years. His paintings create a snapshot of what the future could be if humans continue in our ways.
Having been awarded the UOB Painting of the Year – Most Promising Artist of the Year, Emerging Artist Thailand category in 2017, Ketsakda has cemented his place as an artist to look out for.
